Summer Reading Program "A Universe of Stories" kicks off on June 21st with a performance by Mr. Aaron in the town gym! Bring your own picnic supper at 6pm and enjoy the show at 6:30pm! We are meeting in the town gym due to the forecast rain.
Register online above, at the kick-off event or at the library, and get your reading booklets to keep track of how much time you spend reading. The simple log only requires and estimate for the week, and a parent's initials if it is for a child or teen.
Read this summer and earn raffle tickets for a chance to win prizes throughout the summer. We have a great prizes in our display case, with more to come, that we will raffle off throughout the summer. If you read the minimum each week and log it you will get a raffle ticket. At the end of the 8-week long program we will be giving away Grand Prizes of $100 Amazon gift cards in the three age groups. Read the minimum number of hours (Kids and Teens = 16 hrs, Adults = 20 hrs) and your name will be entered!

Thank you to Federal Savings Bank for underwriting the summer reading program! Their donation sponsors the performances, Grand Prizes ($100 Amazon card in the three age groups) and materials for story times, crafts and STEM programs! We have also had incentive prizes donated by New England Tutors, Barnz Cinemas, Golick's and Jet Pack Comics.

There are many great programs planned this summer - come to the kick-off for the first chance to sign up! Some programs are open to everyone with no registration necessary, but others like the Wee Read! Story Time, Kids and Teen STEM/Craft programs, Reading with TeeTonka (therapy dog), Chair Yoga, the Escape Room, etc. will need you to register to get a spot through our calendar of events HERE.
Hope to see you at the library this summer!
